AdvancedIT is a Rotorua based IT company that also services the wider Bay of Plenty. Started 13+ years ago, AdvancedIT services local businesses across a wide area of disciplines including forestry, accounting, lawyers, barristers, engineering, medical, charitable trusts, real estate, tourism, hospitality and insurance.
 
We aim to be your virtual IT department. We are experts in information technology networking, servers, computers, cloud computing, backups, security and more.
 
Our staff are highly trained and our team has over 50 years combined experience in the IT industry. Our staff know their stuff, and If we don't, then we know where to find the answers.
 
We pride ourselves that our staff have the IT skills and knowledge to get things right but can also communicate with the end user so that they understand the issues.

Steve Kitchener - Director & General Manager - steve@advancedit.co.nz

Steve is the primary shareholder and has been working within the IT industry for 20 years working for some large charitable organizations in the UK and New Zealand.  This includes The Salvation Army New Zealand, Fiji & Tonga Territory where Steve worked for 4 years sharing his experience and knowledge in Linux, Microsoft and Lotus systems. Steve has Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist (MCTS), MCP, SuSE Enterprise Server Qualifications, Lotus Notes Certified engineer.


Jeremy Hill - Director & Systems Engineer - jeremy@advancedit.co.nz

Jeremy is the secondary shareholder and has been involved in IT for over 15 years where he began study. Previously he was working for a small business targeted company taking care of network installations. Jeremy has achieved CompTIA A+, Network + and Security + alongside multiple diplomas in system administration and network architecture. He is one of our project planning and migration experts in charge of enterprise migrations, server builds and implementations. This includes Azure configuration and deployment plus on premise projects and solutions. Jeremy is an experienced network specialist who has configured many environments where unique routing and firewall requirements are needed.

Jashan Bajwa - Technical Consultant - jashan@advancedit.co.nz

Jashan has been part of the team since early 2020, Jashan has had years of experience managing large and complex in house IT Infrastructure. He excels at project management and integration.

Sam Pauli - Technical Consultant - sam@advancedit.co.nz
 
Sam is a growing technician who has been with the company for almost 4 years now. He can assist with a wide variety of common issues and is growing his skills as he works through his Microsoft certifications.

Jesse Izzillo - Technical Consultant - jesse@advancedit.co.nz

Jesse has been with the company for nearly 2 years now, he's a well rounded technician with good general knowledge of computer systems. Jesse has a bachelor degree in networking and hardware and is wanting to expand his knowledge with cyber security courses in the near future. He is considered friendly and patient.

Heremia White - Technical Consultant - heremia@advancedit.co.nz

Heremia is the newest addition to the team. He has previously studied IT and has also worked in the industry since 2020. He is keen to expand his knowledge in Networking and Microsoft Azure. Talk to Heremia about your computer needs or any issues you may be having and he will be happy to assist.
